Weekly Weather Update - 20 May 2019

Heat to tighten its grip over the state…Though, no heat wave likely…

Due to series of WDs near normal to below normal maximum temperatures over the most parts of the state has been observed in past week….Maximum temperatures observed on Yesterday on 19/05/2019 were

Ahmedabad 40 (2 C Below Normal), Bhuj 37.2 C (2 C Below Normal) ,Rajkot 39.5 C (near Normal) , Vadodara 39.8 C (Normal)

Forecast:- 20 to 26^th  May

          Due to Expected changes in Wind patterns Heat likely to tighten its grip over the state by the start of the week….Maximum temperatures will see rise of 2-3 C compared to currently prevailed…..Maximum Temperatures in hot centers of state likely to be in range of 41 to 43 C….While few centers may cross 43 C as specially in former days of week…. Minimum temperatures are also expected to be near normal to slightly above normal during the week….

Wind direction will remain West to Northwest in former days of week….which should changed to West to SouthWest in later days of week…. Windy conditions expected in afternoon hours…. Wind speed in coastal areas expected to be between 15 -30 km/h while 10 to 20 km/h in interiors….

 

ગરમી ફરી પોતાનો સકંજો કસશે...હિટ વેવની સંભાવના નથી....

          

              હાલમાં મહત્તમ તાપમાન જેમ અગાઉ જણાવેલ તેમ નોર્મલ નજીક કે નોર્મલ કરતાં થોડા નીચા જોવા મળેલ છે. તા 19 માં મુખ્ય શહેરોમાં મહત્તમ તાપમાન અમદાવાદ 40 C (નોર્મલ થી 2 ડિગ્રી નીચું) ભુજ 37.2 C (નોર્મલ થી 2 ડિગ્રી નીચું) રાજકોટ 39.5 (નોર્મલથી 1 ડિગ્રી ચું) વડોદરા 39.8 C (નોર્મલ)....

Forecast તા.- 20 થી 26 મે

ઉપરાઉપરી વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સથી ઘણા દિવસોથી ગરમીમાં રાહત હતી,તો આવતા અઠવાડિયામાં ગરમીમાં વધારો થશે....મહત્તમ તાપમાનમાં વર્તમાન મહત્તમ તાપમાન કરતાં 2 થી 3 ડિગ્રીનો વધારો થશે....ગરમ વિસ્તારોમાં સમગ્ર અઠવાડીયા દરમિયાન ગરમીનો પારો 41 થી 43 ડિગ્રી ની વચ્ચે રેહશે તો અમુક વિસ્તારોમાં ગરમી નો પારો 43 ને પાર જઈ શકે છે ખાસ કરીને સપ્તાહના શરૂવાતના દિવસોમાં.... જ્યારે ન્યૂનતમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ નજીક કે નોર્મલથી થોડા ઊંચા રેહશે....

સપ્તાહના શરૂવાતના દિવસોમાં પવનની દિશા પશ્ચિમ થી ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમની રેહશે જેથી ભેજનું પ્રમાણ ઘટશે.....સપ્તાહના અંતિમ દિવસોમાં પવનની દિશા પશ્ચિમથી દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમની થશે....બપોર બાદ પવનની ગતિ વિશેષ રહેશે...પવનની ગતિ દરિયાઈ પટ્ટીના વિસ્તારોમાં 15 થી 30 km/h જ્યારે interiors માં 10 થી 20 km/h ની રેહશે
