Gujarat Weather Outlook 13-19 may

Highlights:-

 Fresh WD to Disturb Weather…..Heat to remain Diminished 

  Mercury to hover around Near Normal ranges during the entire week…..Heat may intensify further by Next week (20-26 May)…Due to Approaching WD chances of scattered TS in few parts of the State b/w 14 to 18 may

 

Current Conditions:-

                      The Western Disturbance over west Iran as a cyclonic circulation over at 3.1 km above mean sea level….

    Near Normal Temperatures has been observed in past week over most parts of the state as stated. Ahmedabad reported maximum temperature 41 C (normal)….Rajkot  41.9 C (+1 C)…Baroda 39.4 (-1 C) on 12^th march…

  Forecast:- 13 to 19 May

                Above mention WD likely to drift East and should approach as a tough over South Pakistan and Adjoining Areas around 15^th may….Under its influence Disturbed weather Likely in parts of State….Chances of Scattered Showers/Thundershowers in few pockets Of Gujarat, Saurashtra and Kutch on b/w 14 to 18 May….Specifically  Parts of Kutch and North Gujarat are more probable from 15 to 17^th May…..

  Both Minimum And Maximum Temperatures Likely to be Near Normal during the week...Maximum temperature in Hot Centers should remain in range of 39-42 C during most days of week… Additionally, Under the Influence of WD Low level Moisture likely to increase somewhat…also, Moist Winds from Arabian Sea tend to lower the day’s maxima……Due to that Maximum temperatures in most parts of the state likely to be near normal to slightly below normal during 14 to 18^th may…..

  

   Wind Direction likely to remain West to South west During most of the time, while it should change west to northwest by weekends …Wind Speed likely to remain bit higher in Coastal areas and Kutch (20-35 km/h) While , in rest parts of the state  it should remain in range of 10 to 25 km/h as specially during afternoon time….

 

ગરમી અંકુશમાં રેહશે....નવા વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સથી વાતાવરણ અસ્થિર બનશે....

ગરમીનો પારો સમગ્ર સપ્તાહ દરમિયાન લગભગ નોર્મલ નજીક રહશે....આવનારા વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સથી રાજ્યના કેટલાક ભાગોમાં છાંટ-છૂટની સંભાવના.....આવતા અઠવાડિયાથી (20-26 મે) આકરી ગરમી પડવના સંકેતો મળી રહ્યા છે....

 ગયા સપ્તાહમાં તાપમાન લગભગ નોર્મલ નજીક કે નોર્મલથી થોડા નીચા રહ્યા...તા. 12 મી મે એ વિવિધ શહેરોમાં મહત્તમ તાપમાન અમદાવાદ 41 (નોર્મલ) , રાજકોટ 41.9 (નોર્મલથી 1 ડિગ્રી ઊંચું) વડોદરા 39.4 (નોર્મલથી એક ડિગ્રી નીચું) જે લગભગ નોર્મલ કેહવાય...

હાલમાં એક વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સ પશ્ચિમ ઈરાન પર cyclonic circulation ના સ્વરૂપમાં રહેલું છે...જે દરિયાઈ સપાટીથી 3.1 km ની ઊંચાઈએ ફેલાયેલુ છે....જે આગળના દિવસોમાં પૂર્વ તરફ ગતિ કરી તા 15 આસપાસ સાઉથ પાકિસ્તાન અને આસપાસના વિસ્તારોમાં પહોંચશે...જેની અસર રૂપે તા 14 થી 18 માં ગુજરાત, સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છમાં ક્યાંક ક્યાંક છાંટ છૂટની શક્યતા છે....ખાસ કરીને કચ્છ અને ઉત્તર ગુજરાતનાં અમુક અમુક ભાગોમાં 15 થી 17 માં વધારે સંભાવના…..

તો આ અઠવાડિયામાં પણ સમગ્ર અઠવાડીયા દરમિયાન તાપમાન લગભગ નોર્મલ નજીક રેહશે.....ગરમ વિસ્તારોમાં ગરમીનો પારો 39 થી 42 ની વચ્ચે રેહશે.......તા.13 ના ગરમીનું પ્રમાણ સામાન્ય વધારે રેહશે....તા.14 થી 18 માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન લગભગ નોર્મલ કે નોર્મલથી થોડા નીચા રેહશે....ખાસ કરીને 15 થી 17 માં ગરમીનું પ્રમાણ ઓછું રેહશે......

પવનની દિશા મુખ્યત્વે પશ્ચિમ અને દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ ની રેહશે જે સપ્તાહના અંતમાં બદલાઈને પશ્ચિમ થી ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ તરફની થશે......પાવની ગતિ ખાસ કાઈને બપોર બાદ દરિયાઈ વિસ્તારોમાં અને કચ્છમાં થોડી વધારે રેહશે (20-35 km/h ) જ્યારે બાકીના વિસ્તારોમા 10 થી 25 km/h (બપોર બાદ) સુધીની રેહશે......
